Qualification is technical

Before talking about people, we talk about your system: the architecture in place, the main constraint, what has already been tried and the team the consultant will join. The conversation is led by Clément Joly, an engineering graduate who spent eleven years framing technical requirements in corporate and investment banking. The aim is to understand the context well enough to look for the right expertise, not simply the right keywords.

Selection is by name

We identify the people whose background genuinely matches the context, and we put forward few of them. Every consultant we introduce has been met, qualified, and their technical command validated by an expert in the field. We have to be able to explain why we are putting them forward. Technical interviews are run by two people: an expert in the relevant field assesses the candidate's skills, and the founder sits in. That is how we can give you a reasoned opinion on someone, not just a summary.

Our engagement model today: expert reinforcement

Our core model today is specialist engineers working within client teams: one or more Modders engineers join your team to bring precise expertise on a system, an architecture or a skill that is hard to mobilise internally. They contribute to the project day to day, in close collaboration with your technical and business leads, while remaining supported and followed by Modders.

Follow-up does not stop at day one

A Modders consultant stays in contact with the firm throughout the engagement: career reviews, a technical discussion whenever they need one, access to expert peers, and training when a skill needs strengthening. This follow-up serves their progression first; it also improves the quality of their work with the client.

How we work

What we focus on today

We are not trying to cover every consulting and delivery model. Our core model is expert reinforcement through specialist engineers working within client teams, on targeted and technically demanding needs. We are not here to answer volume staffing requests or to present ourselves as a generalist integrator.

When a need calls for a setup we have not yet built, we say so plainly. That saves everyone time.
